Privacy Policy
This policy applies to the website avoo.ch (marketing and information site). Last updated: 12 June 2026.
1. Controller
The party responsible for the processing of data on this website is the operator of avoo: Avoo eine Marke von Studio S GmbH Bäderstrasse 19 5400 Baden. Contact for data protection matters: support@avoo.ch.
2. Principle
We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG) and — where applicable — the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We collect only the data necessary to operate and improve the website, and we do not pass it on to third parties for our own advertising purposes.
3. Accessing the website (server logs)
When the website is accessed, technically necessary data is processed (e.g. IP address, date/time, page requested, browser type) so that the page can be delivered and operated securely. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation. The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA/EU); the application data is stored with Supabase (EU region). We have entered into appropriate agreements with these processors.
4. Contact form
If you use the contact form, we process the data you provide (name, email, studio, optionally phone number and your message) solely to respond to your enquiry. The notification is sent via the email service provider Resend. The legal basis is the handling of your enquiry or pre-contractual measures. We retain the enquiry for as long as is necessary to handle it and to address any follow-up questions.
5. Cookies & consent
We use necessary cookies/storage (e.g. to remember your cookie choice) — these are required for operation and do not need consent. We load optional analytics tools only once you select “Accept all” in the cookie banner. You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting the stored consent in your browser; after that, the analytics tools will no longer be loaded.
6. Web analytics (only with consent)
With your consent, we use the following to improve the website:
- Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC) — reach and usage statistics. Data may be transferred to the USA in the process.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) — anonymised usage analysis and heatmaps to improve usability. Here, too, a transfer to the USA is possible.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR or consent under the Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG)). Without consent, these tools are not loaded.
7. Disclosure & third countries
Data is disclosed only to the processors named above (hosting, email delivery, web analytics) and only to the extent described. For transfers to the USA, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g. EU Standard Contractual Clauses) provided by the respective providers.
8. Your rights
Within the scope of applicable law, you have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, as well as the right to withdraw any consent given at any time. To exercise these rights, please contact support@avoo.ch. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Switzerland: the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC)).
9. Changes
We may amend this privacy policy if the processing or the legal requirements change. The version published on this page applies in each case.
